Road to Java Bali
JAVA – BALI OVERLAND
Day-1. Meeting service at Jakarta Airport, then procced to hotel for check in. free program
Day-2. After breakfast then visiting : National museum, Old Batavia. Lunch at local restaurant. Sunset at Sunda Kelapa traditional harbour. Back to hotel
Day-3. After breakfast then drive to Botanical Garden Bogor lunch will be served at Puncak pass (the middle of tea plantation on hill top). directly to Bandung for checkin hotel
Day-4. After breakfast then visiting : Tangkuban Parahu Volcano (you can do light trekking around the crater). Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch visit Angklung Mang Udjo (West java Traditional music perfomance). back to hotel
Day-5. After breakfast checkout hotel then drive to South Bandung to visit Kawah Putih (Putih crater) & Patenggang lake. Lunch at local resturant. Proceed to Garut for checkin hotel
Day-6. After breakfast then visiting : Papandayan mountain (golden crater). Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Kampung Naga (West java traditional village with unique culture). then directly to Pangandaran beach area for checkin hotel
Day-7. After breakfast then visiting : Green Canyon (go up along the edge of green river by boat to see natural cave). Lunch at local restaurant. Surfing at Batu Karas beach. back to hotel.
Day-8. (optional) after breakfast do the trekking at pangandaran Nature Preserve (lunch box) back to hotel, free program
Day-9. after brakfast drive to Baturaden resort hill. Lunch will be served at local restaurant on the way to Baturaden, stay overnight
Day-10. After breakfast drive to Dieng to see the first Hindhus temple in Java, Sikidang Crater and Color lake. Lunch at local restaurant. Drive to Jogjakarta for checkin hotel
Day-11. After breakfast then visiting Borobudur temple, Sultan Palace, Water castle. Lunch at local restaurant. Traditional Batik & Silver Processing. Back to hotel. Evening tour to see Ramayana Perfomance while having dinner.
Day-12. After breakfast drive to Prambanan temple. Lunch at Local resturant. Direct to Sukuh and Ceto tempe (erotic temples) on the top of the hill. Checkin Hotel at Sarangan
Day-13. After breakfast drive to Bromo mountain, Checkin Hotel, Free program (lunch at local restaurant)
Day-14. Early morning (at 03.30 AM) drive by jeep to view point at Pananjakan to see the spectacular mount Bromo sunrise then drive pass the sea of the sand to Bromo crater by jeep after to see the crater go back to hotel for breakfast and checkout. Directly drive to Ijen Mountain, Checkin hotel, free program
Day-15. After breakfast do the light trekking climb up the ijen mountain to enjoy the color lake inside crater and see sulphur miner activity. back hotel for lunch. Checkout then drive to Ketapang harbour to across the Bali strait by ferry to Bali island. Drive to your own hotel, End of tour.
EAST JAVA EXPERIENCES
Day 1 – Arrival
Arrived at Surabaya Airport, meeting service in the airport and will take you to Malang, On the way to the hotel you may stop over at Botanical Garden Purwodadi to explore the rich variety of Indonesian tropical plants.
Day 2 – Fullday Tour
Starting ‘very early’ with a drive to Mt. Penanjakan to see the sunrise and beautiful scenery overlooking Mount Bromo and its crater, Mount Bathok and Mount Semeru, while you enjoy your morning robusta coffee followed by riding horse to Mt. Bromo across its sandy plateau. There you could enjoy your breakfast at the ‘sand sea’ (covers 12 km) across which is the caldera of an ancient volcano (Tengger). Arriving in the Jemplang you could then rest, relax and enjoy the view at the shelter. Recharged we continue the journey to Gubug Klakah – through marvelous countryside displaying terraced apple orchards, primal rain forest with possible sightings of leaf-eating monkeys. After a light lunch, we’re going to be refreshed by visit to the unexploited secret of east Java the waterfall Coban Pelangi.
On the way back to Malang near Tumpang village there is Candi Jago know also as Candi Jajaghu or Candi Tumpang, the Buddhist cult temple of King Vishnuvardhana, built for his worship by his son Kertanegara, last king of the Kingdom of Singhasari. The reliefs show scenes from fables: Krishnayana, Parthayajna and Arjunavivaha, the marriage of Arjuna. And Candi Kidal, located in Rejokodal village southeast of Malang, identified as the the burial shrine of King Anusapati, who died in 1248.
Day 3 – At Leisure (optional)
During your stay, enjoy our Javanese Herbal whole body massage (1 hour treatment), the Javanese massage technique using special mixture of many kinds of Javanese herbal as well as local traditional spices.
Day 4 – At Blitar
After breakfast drive to blitar City visit the tomb of Sukarno, the first President (died in 1970) and Founding Father of Indonesia and visit to his house museum and continue with a tour to Penataran Temple – dates back to the reign of King Srengga of Kediri at the end of the 12th century, but the remains which we see today are almost entirely the work of Majapahit architects and builders dating from the 14th century and Sawentar Temple built earlier in mid 13th Century with an architecture and design that has some similarities to the temples in Champa or Vietnam that can only be reached by following a narrow path passing a small traditional village.Back to hotel.
Day 5 – Depart to Surabaya – On the way to Surabaya Airport.
Visit and see the sights of Singosari Temple one of the last monuments erected in 1304 AD to honour King Kertanegara. Further past the temple are two giant Dwarapala statues believed to have been the guardians of the great kingdom of Singosari. And if time permits we could add another visit to a magnificent temple close to Pandan city in Prigen called the Jawi Temple, also built by Kertanagara during the last period of Singasari, the 13th century. End of tour.
